Mahalo to guests, homeowners and local residents who have helped 2 Papayas become a successful enterprise nurtured with hard work and the spirit of Aloha. My experience dates back 17 years on the Big Island. I began my guest service career in the food and beverage department at the prestigious Mauna Lani Hotel on the Kohala Coast. The priority at the hotel was always "the guests are number one," a focus that I have never forgotten. From there, I ventured into private chef and catering work. In 1998, I decided to expand my experiences when offered a position at a local vacation rental company with rentals in Puako and Waialea Bay. After 2 years of learning the oft times challenging business inside and out, I joined another team as manager of a fledlging vacation rental division at a well known Big Island Real Estate firm, where the department expanded from 4 to nearly 70 homes in six and a half years. My belief in hard work and determination that ALL guests and owners shall leave the Big Island with fond memories of their time here, has earned my reputation in Puako as THE person to call.

The Big Island of Hawaii is where visitors of all ages can enjoy the idyllic life of sun and sea. Our favorite area is the scenic community of Puako just minutes away from the finest luxury resorts on the Island. However, in our mind, "getting away from it all" means REALLY getting away from crowded hotel pools, overpriced restaurants and daunting resorts. Come enjoy a home away from home at Puako, Waialea Bay or Waimea.
