This quiet spot, located at the south end of Puako on the mauka (mountain) side of the road, sits among palms, a beautiful Hong Kong orchid tree, a large hau tree and additional plantings perfectly suited to the arid Puako climate. Enjoy a peek of the Pacific from the south lawn before joining neighbors and friends at the water’s edge for another beautiful Puako sunset.
Designed for casual beach life, the bungalow’s cathedral ceilings, front patio and back lanai create a sense of space and flexibility for a variety of dining and entertaining options. Two bedrooms, each with a full bathroom, are located at opposite ends of the structure for maximum privacy. Tile floors and counters offer clean, cool comfort. Framed sepia-toned photographs of palm trees, an antique Indonesian punee and wood-pegged Indonesian dining table, rustic Oaxacan cabinets, and clay pottery from Crete and Tunisia complete the eclectic island interior.
