Ohana Hale

Walking into this home, the first thing that greets you is the sight of the sea. The house is directly behind a short seawall with views from virtually every room. The designer-furnished home is two-stories with three oceanfront bedrooms, two on the ground floor and one on the second floor. Each room has been lovingly decorated with earth and island colors, art, and quilts. The great room featuring, kitchen, dining and living areas have hardwood floors, high ceilings, elegant fans and a stunning view of the ocean. The modern kitchen is a joy in which to prepare meals with plentiful counter space, utensils and kitchenware. There are bar stools to pull up alongside the chef, for family and friends who enjoy chatting and cooking together. An office with an additional sleeping area is conveniently located next to the kitchen. The office also has built-in desktops with room for a laptop or two and high-speed wireless internet is provided for your use. We are proud to do are part for the environment with this fully solar home.

  Our third stay at this beautifully maintained house was perfect. We come to the area to scuba dive and the silver lining to not being able dive as much as we would like due to huge ocean swells was that we got to spend more time enjoying the house. Manager Mary checked in often to make sure everything was fine. We will be back.

  Ohana Hale is the perfect vacation rental! It is located right on Puako Beach with beautiful views and amazing sounds of the waves crashing. The home was spotless. The kitchen had every dish and appliance we needed. I especially liked having 2 French presses and 1 pour over.
  2 Papayas welcomed us to the home and were available to answer questions.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ohana Hale! We’ve stayed in many rental homes but this one far surpassed the average rental. From the soft Hawaiian music that greeted us upon arrival and the small touches that welcomed us, to the fully stocked professional kitchen and well appointed home, we couldn’t have asked for more. It took us a day to figure out how to safely snorkel (walk a couple houses up or down the beach to find a smooth opening between the rocks to get out far enough to easily snorkel). But once we did, we really enjoyed being so close to the ocean. The sunsets were a daily moment none of us wanted to miss. Beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of privacy for our family of 7.
